The Flip option allows you to flip the image vertically. This is beneficial when camera is mounted upside down and you want to view the image right side up. The Mirror option allows you to flip the video image horizontally so it is a mirrored image. To enable the Flip and/or Mirror options, click in the available checkbox. You can edit or flip image by using Photoshop any version. If ever you do not like the idea you can also use Paint application if Mac computers have that or if you have that installed in your mac, then you just have to save it as a jpeg file. Another choice is you can download Flip Builder, Flip Image for Mac software.

I don't use your Logitech webcam or chrome, but because you can make your camera work in some apps that allow selection among connected cameras, I think you should concentrate on your Flash plug-in and its capability with your browser(s).
(1) Allow or Deny are in the Flash 'Privacy' settings.
If it is possible to change cameras in your browser Flash plug-in, you will need to use the 'Camera' settings choices bar instead of Privacy.
If you need help with Camera settings: http://tinyurl.com/4pswu9
(2) Unless you have updated Flash this week, verify that your Flash plug-in is the latest one that is compatible with your system.
• You can check your Flash version using this page:
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
If have trouble when using the most current update, use your Mac's Disk Utility to repair permissions. Then follow Adobe's instructions here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/908/cpsid_90893.html
(3) If you still have trouble, try using Safari, Firefox, or other browsers you may have to see if the problem is the same in all. If it is the same with all browsers, check Adobe's dedicated Flash Player Forum or Flash Player Developer Center for suggestions specifically related to Flash Player capability and configuration.

Is your webcam wonky? A problem that some people have is that when they take a photo using their webcam the resulting image is flipped. What can be causing this strange behaviour and how can it be fixed? Is it a hardware or a software problem? The answer is simpler than you might imagine.
This is not really a webcam problem and it is an obvious function to build into webcams if you think about it, but it does confuse some people who think that their computer is somehow faulty.
If you look into mirror you don’t see yourself as you really are. What you see is a flipped image and it is the reverse of what other people see. It is a mirror image. The question is, should a webcam show a mirror image so that you can use it like a mirror or should it show a true image the right way around?
In some circumstances it can be useful to show a mirror image. I’ve seen ladies use the camera on their phone to check their hair and make up! It’s not just for the fairer sex though and if you are recording a video blog it can be useful to see yourself on the screen as you would a mirror. This means that when you move left the image of yourself onscreen moves left too, rather than the opposite direction as it would appear to someone watching you – your left is their right if you think about it.
When taking photos of events in front of the webcam though, you probably want the image the right way around, as it really looks.

You will probably find a setting in the webcam software to choose whether the image is normal or mirrored. The screen shot is from Logitech webcam software and the setting is in Advanced Settings. It may be in a different place in your webcam software, so dig around and see if you can find it.
